PURO TRÓPICO brings together a series of photographic works that explore the aesthetic and sensory qualities of the tropical environment. Focusing on everyday subjects—plants, surfaces, organic forms—I want to draw the attention to the subtle details that often escape notice. Central to the series is an investigation into the role of light: how it passes through, reflects off, and animates these subjects, revealing unexpected textures and colour gradients. Through close observation and framing, the images invite a re-encounter with the familiar, transforming the ordinary into something quietly resonant. The work encourages a slower mode of looking, where fleeting visual phenomena become moments of heightened perception.
